## Item Onboarding Help Document

### Overview

This guide walks you through the process of onboarding items in the Velora app, including creating item properties and uploading data. Follow these simple steps to get started with your item catalog.

### Steps to Onboard Items

#### 1. Accessing Item Properties

* Navigate to the "Items" section in the app.
* Click on an item from the list to select it.
* Click on "Item Properties" to view or edit the properties associated with the selected item.

#### 2. Creating Item Properties

* In the "Item Properties" section, create properties similar to those used for users.
* Enter the necessary details for each property (e.g., name, description, type).
* Save the changes to apply the new properties to the item.

#### 3. Uploading Data

* Return to the main item screen.
* Locate and click the "Upload" option.
* Select the file or data you wish to upload for the item.
* Confirm the upload to complete the process.

* Validation config, you can make field as <mark style="color:$warning;">mandatory</mark> and <mark style="color:$warning;">drop if empty</mark>
* The upload process will stop if a mandatory check fails.
* Remove Empty Rows: If any columns are empty, drop the corresponding row.

### Troubleshooting

* **Error Uploading Data**: Ensure the file format is supported (e.g., CSV) and the file size is within limits. Check the upload guidelines in the app.
* **Properties Not Saving**: Verify all required fields are filled out before saving. Refresh the page and try again if needed.
